I am part of a Networking group, and needless to say we meet every week at 7AM on Thursday Mornings. In the networking group is everything from is everything from Dentists to Garbage men. To say the least it’s a very interesting group. There are a few things to note. Its 7AM and most people especially entrepreneurs are without question some of the funniest people in the world.

What a day, I feel like I have run the gammit of craziness. I had an interview, went back to work, had another sales call in which I have had a few. A small engagement but what could turn into a long term engagement. Then I was searching the news and saw this strange article in the washitngton post. Could you imagine if you were that girl, or boy?? I mean wow.

Its the summer, and I think people are losing there patience. I know many different types of people, some that are mild mannered, some that are not. It seems that all of these people these days have been well not so kind. I guess the old phrase killing them with kidness doesn't really work. Its funny, I remember getting laid off from my job at Cap Gemini and being as nice as I could, and people felt so bad for me. I wonder what would have happened if I was a complete asshole.

Guilty, until proven innocent??

What is wrong with this country, we all want to convict convict convict. I don't care who you are or what you did, wether you are kobe bryant or joe smo, wether you are old or young, in this country the benefit of the doubt is that you are innocent until proven guilty. Its one of the strange quirks that we have in our judicial system that a prosecutor has to prove that you did something wrong.

Now, its not been a hot summer by any stretch of the imagination, but all I know is this humidity has wrecked my sleeping pattern for the most part. Its all good, i get many good nights of sleep, but it just makes everyone stink!!

What in the world is happening on our roadways. Now, just so you know, i basically work from home, from time to time go visit clients. But this morning, I picked my boss up from Newark, and for the love of peaches and apples everywhere, if you are riding around town with those two items in your car, they are going to get smushed. The roads in Newark, and on Route 80 are just a fricken nightmare. I thought during hte summer they were supposed to work on the roads?? I mean cmon know. This gets a little bit aggrivating.

This town that I live in. What a pain in the ass. This weekend was the "festival weekend" so, they close a main portion of the roads. They light fireworks off, which makes my dogs edgy to say the least. (it also makes the poodle next door a bit crazy too), and worst, people fricken park everywhere and anywhere. In past years, I had been at the future inn-laws for the weekend for all of there birthdays so I guess i didn't realize what a pain this weekend was.

Today, the date of my birth, a relatively sad day in the world of sports. Ken Daneyko, the ultimate proffessional who had his past troubles with alcohol retired. Daneyko as we called him, was a spirited player. Not the most gifted of althete, but by all means had passion, played with intensity, and a smile that is often hard to forget. Its bittersweet wathcing a player who you grew up with retiring from professional sports. No I didn't really grow up with Ken Daneyko, but I can tell you, that it was an honor to watch him since I was about 10 years old. Ken Daneyko, thank you.

A note to Jason Kidd, give me a fricken break already. As it seems to me you are a greedy fool. Someone offers you 98 million dollars on a damn good basketball team and you want to think about it. What is wrong with you my friend. Are you nutz!! Well it just shows me how little athletes have in terms of common sense. You can make the finals again in the east. If you go over to the west, and you play against shaq and kobe, and all those guys, you may not even make the finals again!!!

Today, the second of July, Life is good, why, you see, I am not sure why I am starting this web blog. Just seems like a fun thing to do. Comment on the days events, make people crazy, (I already do that). See life is supposed to be fun, exciting and new, and it is every day. All of us should be allowed to use run on sentences in life, have fun with our jobs, and all have pets that we care for. Plus, weneed the most important thing in life. That would be passion. Passion, is so important, weather its sports, love, or even food, without passion there would be no emotion, no desire, no arguments. So remember passion is a good thing, without it life would be boring.
