Can the rain give you a headache???

All of a sudden like 5 minutes ago it felt like pain by my right eye. I think what the hell is going on around here. Well it must be the fact its rainig and I still haven't gotten my fertilizer on to the ground. The two dogs Daisy and Stanley make it a touch hard to always get this done, but as long as it is raining its okay. This damn headache needs to go away.

Weekend Nap, and a Bad Movi,

In yesterday's post My wife had the wonderful idea to tell the world that dirty dancing was on while i was in the room. What she doesn't say in the post is that I was fast asleep in like 5 minutes for my normal weekend nap. I mean what is the weekend without a nap.

IRON EAGLE,

This movies is so 80's, but it still rocks. It was on this weekend and my wife had never seen it. SO i started talking about it and the soundtrack (one of the finest movie soundtracks ever). Well I had to go run an errand and the wife finally decides that she is hooked. Which is awesome. We need more of these classic type movies on more often. I mean this movie makes me want to learn how to fly a plane. It makes me feel god at the end when he save3s his father and when he finally gets into the Air Force Acadamy. Whats a classic off the radar movie that gets you evertime its on. Some other movies for me would have to be the Last Starfighter.

Ahhh, the Spring,

Well spring is offically here, and my NOSE knows. Of course, it hasn't stopped running since friday when it warmed up!! Well I guess life could be worse.

So I do an oil change on my lawnmower, and the mower seems to smoke and smoke and smoke?? Can't figure it out for hte life of me. Changing the oil on that thing is oh so much fun!! I mean you get under it, and you scream, and you get black, and it sucks.

Yahoo! News - Pope Says Sundays for God, Not Sports. I am jewish. My holiday starts on friday at sundown and neds on Saturday sundown. If I followed the laws of my religion i wouldn't drive, i would walk on these holly days. The pope should learn that the NFL is actually a religion, and sundays from September thru the superbowl is a real religion. I wonder if you add up all the Fans of this fine league, you may have more then most religions, including my own. So I thank the NFL for becoming a part of my life, and letting me become a part of its religion.

Yes!!

Well there has been alot going on but what it is I am not exaclty sure. See my wife (who reads this) has a birthday coming up. And I haven't exactly figured out what to get her. Then there is work, which has been busy, very busy but busy in a fun way when hours feel like minutes.

Plus, I have been up since 6:06AM this morning. Please don't feel bad for me, its just I keep going and going. I am also trying to organize a group of 8 (and we have 9) of us to play in this golf tourney on April 17th.

Plan for Jets� Manhattan Stadium Surges Ahead: "ci" I get it. Lets put a football stadium in the biggest city of the world. Lets waste more taxpayers money just so the jets can have their own stadium. I hate the Jets, I do hope they leave NJ and soon. But thats not even the issue. Lets say this happens. The commuter tax is bound to go up. The city which is always a mess will become more of a mess, and the city will become broke once again.

Terrific Tuesday???

Well tuesday is almost in the books and besides eating dinner with the wife the best thing about this day was that Old School was on. "Your my boy blue." So the day overall was total chaos for the most part. It just seemed that once i got going something brought me back to a standstill for lack of a better word. And when i did get home I had the worlds worst headache, but all in all it was a tuesday, like the 52 other tuesdays in this year.

He Went the Distance

Cool Running :: THE HARP & SHAMROCK 5K, SKIDMORE COLLEGE Race Results So I made it. I did the 5k, and finished ahead of 3 people. Whooo Hoo. Well I started out like a blaze of glory, and then my feet gave way. So forty minutes. My wife and brother-in-law both finished ahead of me, but all in all Sunday was a good day for a quick run.

As for the feet I suffer from Planter planter Fasciitis and I am hopefully that for the next 5K that the wife asks me to run, I will pick up a good 5 or 6 minutes. My custom orthodox should be in within the next few weeks so I am really hopefull that it will help my running. I don't believe it was my stamina as much as it was the pain!

Well life is a Marathon, not a sprint. So running a little bit isn't necessarily a bad idea.

Yahoo! News - Tenn. County Wants to Charge Homosexuals - I will preface this by saying I am not a Homosexual. I will also say that I am pretty homophobic at times. I do believe that all people are created equal, and to say that you can be charged because of your beliefs or sexual orientation is flat out wrong. If they start doing this to Homosexuals in tenessee, you can gurantee, that being Jewish, or Catholic, or Hispanic or Black is going to be against the law next. This sickens me greatly. The USA Was formed that you will not be prosecuted for your beliefs. By doing this to people because they are "Gay" is wrong. Maybe the people who approved this should take a look at the laws in the constitution and bill of rights and become more familiar with them.

Terrell Owens = Cry Baby

This is it. I can't stand terrell owens. Thats right he is a cry baby. Why oh why should the rules be different for you. You said you didn't want to play for the niners. Then you forget some paperwork. As far as I know, If I forgot to pay my car insurance on time, or my taxes I would have to deal with the circumstances. Its just rediculous how you got your way. The NFL should have done nothing. They should have made you get hit by ray lewis every day in practice. They should have said you want out of the ravens or the niners, you have to pay them back the signing bonus that you signed or the rest of the contract that you were owed. Its just sickening. Teachers can't always pick what class they want to teach, and nor can they dictate it, well you have just done this. So I hope that you and your eagles go 3-13, and get beaten twice by the GMEN.

Running,

Well this is what my next weekend will be Harp 5K Run 2004. I wonder if they will give us some Harp's after the race, then I can hit the nice ride back to NJ with the puppies and the wife.

As for last weekend, it was great. I did a lot of nothing, meanwhile in the home my wife was running around getting ready for a shower. Well, she made it thru, and will be running as well on sunday morning. I hope its in the 40's i mean after all its the first day of spring. Well check out the race!!

Ah Friday,

Ah, only a few hours left of the work week and it has been a busy one. The busy one's always seem to fly by. I can honestly say I am exhausted these days. Not sure if its my feet, if its the fact that the world seems to go and go and go. Its amazing to think how fast time goes by, but it really does fly by so to speak.

Moment of Silence,

Hopefully all of you took a moment of silence today with the horrible terror ordeal in Spain. So sad, so much unfinished life, and evil whomever is responsible.

One hit that I am sure Todd Bertuzzi would take back. One hit!! How many of us have made on mistake in life. Should todd bertuzzi now be considered a thug. And for all of you who hate hockey because of stuff like this, i contend you have never really tried to watch!! Hockey is not football, its not basketball, its faster then both, and the one difference between hockey and the rest of the sports is that Hockey players play with emotion. Its evident on every shift. I don't disagree that bertuzzi should have to sit out a very long time, and if it was my team, (like the niedermayer dommi thing a few years back) I would be furious. These ignorant writers who don't know hockey from anything like the drudge report sensationalize the bad!!! This needs to stop.

Legacy,

In a conversatin with a good friend thru IM Today he came up with a quote that got me thinking. "someone will find a cure for cancer someday...my legacy will be a NASCAR fantasy league...haha" In retrospect its really funny. I mena legacy, what does it really mean. People make differences in all different ways in this world. Amber and I adopted and have a love for animals, and would probably have a few more if we had the room. But legacy, I mean we all want to leave this place making it better then how we came into the world. Teams have a legacy, but its more important that we remember the people who do the little things in life, that really make a difference.

Okay its hockey deadline day - Its a day filled with hope, and nervousness, I like this devils team to much to say goodbye to any of the players. And as a fan, and I hear from many of you, stop your bitching. We have won the stanley cup 3 times in the past 9 years. We are always in the thick of it, and we have the best GM In all of sports, who makes sure we always have a chance, and keeps an eye on our future.

Amazing!

Isn't it great. Its 60 degree's out on sunday. Then its 32 snowing, and the snow is as heavy as my springer spaniel on monday morning. As for the weekend, I finally had gotten the backyard poop free. I mean what else is there to look forward to in life. I also filled a couple of divits that had become huge in my lawn. Water had been filling up so I am hoping that this will helps solve some of the problem, and then I will gladly throw some grass seed over them, and pray that it takes.

2 Its the Magic Number

Well its been 2 crazy days. With the wife not around and in vegas for work its been up to me. 2 Crazy Dogs since sunday with just me and them. I can tell you I love the pups very much but with the backyard a swampland, myself busting my butt with work on this project that is extremly fun yet time consuming, networking, and everything else, I realized I need me time. Lets see the week brought nice weather, and some craziness. Couldn't walk both dogs (leesh walk) because you need 2 to really handle them. So with the babe back 2 is definatly the magic number.

As for other strange occurances with the Number 2, Its the number of players I am guessing the Devils will get at the trade deadline. Also the number 2 is for hours of day I seem to get sucked into the Jayson Williams Trial.

GOD DAMN INSURANCE COMPANIES!

I am not sure whats worse at this point. The Insurnace companies or the fricken companies that you work for. The latest and greatest saga of my legs is my feet. I actually go to the podiatrist because my feet have been killing me. It hurts to walk some days. Anyhow he tells me I need Orthadics, (not the end of the world). Well I get on the horn to aetna to make sure they are covered and of course they say they are, but the lady says hold on, let me check something. So of course my company decides that they won't cover it. So i have this bad feeling that I am going to wind up spending the $400 on these damn things. What is the use of having benefits unless you are in a car accident. This is rediculous, of course, after I asked to speak to a manager at our Corporate Help Desk I have been on hold for 20 Minutes. So I finally get someone she takes all of my information down, and tells me that she will find out an answer. Its not like one can go on with pain in their feet on a consistent basis. Well off of this soapbox, but it has to end somehwhere.

Raymond Recap,

Everyone loves raymond makes me laugh every single time. Its funny, I used to aspire to be a sports writer but life doesn't always work out the way it should, and I could see myself giving a speech (it has happened) where one forgets to congratulate the bride or a mother. These things do happen in life.

Anyhow, the ray column and Maria and her smile and the jealousy that exsists in family!! Also how whipped is robert, he almost looks drugged. And Nuggies Vs. Weggies!!! That should be in next month's ESPN or Rolling Stone.
