Hey Everyone,
Have a wonderful memorial day weekend. Right now we are in a freak thunderstorm. I was told it was going to be a nice day in Northwest Jersey. Boy were they dead wrong on this one. Well hopefull to get a haircut in a little while if people would stop pinging me to help them with small items before the long weekend. Well have a great one looking forward to the wedding of our friends maria and dan tomorrow.

The Headache Chronicle
Not sure why but I keep getting these pains in my head. I used to only have pains in my ass from work or my dogs. But lately I have had this thrusting like pain in my head. People who know me will tell you it can't be from thinking to hard. I haven't been struck by any large objects falling from the sky. Also unlike the movie Phenomenon I have not seen a bright lite out of the sky that will make me brilliant. For one, I am brilliant, but brilliant in my own clever way.
As for today, my head does feel better. Went for a nice walk with the family yesterday, and looking forward to a weekend of being with my wife at a wedding saturday and then some barbeques on sunday and monday.

Raymond Re-Cap - and Subway
Was that not the best episode of Ray Last night. Ray and Robert fighting over and over about the death and life of maria, and who would have her, and then showing up at ray's with the bookcase nicely deocrated in maria's style.
Subway goes in me, and it goes in me. I love subway, not sure why, maybe its the cookies that I get with the sandwhiches, or maybe its the thought that what you are eating isn't really all that bad for you.

Guardian Unlimited | World Latest | High Court: Police May Search Parked Cars
Okay, I have a big issue with this one. So what this tells me if the police really want to screw someone over it makes it tha tuch easier to place the drugs on the car. The word Suspicious that is used on in the article applies to everyone. We are all suspicious in on eway or another. This is total crap. Another one of our freedoms are going the way of the dinosaur. What is next, if you aren't there police can enter your house without a warrent???
Ahh,
Monday morning again. Its amazing to think. This weekend like all of them took seconds. Attended a wedding in West Orange, a friend of mine from High School. Only a few of us left that I talk to that are still not married, and soon enough all of us will be married. My oh my the ceremony was outside, and it was hot. You could just feel yourself sweeting sitting outside. It was very warm.
As for saturday my friend Jayson put some new brakes on my car. Thank goodness. Now that shouldn't have to be done for another bit of time. Nothing crazy this weekend, lots of running around. To much running around. Its all good though. This week I need to take my dogies for a walk every day. We have been getting lazy again the three of us. The wife always goes to the gym. Next weekend its down the shore for another wedding. So thats all good. Plus its a nice night alone for the 2 of us as our neighbor takes care of our dogs. Well back to work I go, hopefully more later.

Fountain of Youth,
I think I have found it. The thing to bring my happiness back with the exception of my wife and my dogies. Its good ole fashioned TV, the type of TV that makes you think and puts life and death into perspective. Joan of Arcadia. The show as cheezy as it is makes no sense in the world that doesn't make any sense. The show is complex. As many would believe its not about teenageers, its about people coming of age. Its about adults dealing with life in general. GOD is a three letter word. Spells dog backwards, that makes sense.
Well as for the weekend, another busy one ahead. Have to change the brakes on the car, go to a wedding, go to a breakfast. So I mowed the lawn today. Its all good. I couldn't even bring myself to read the papers after last nights Nets Debacle. My sports season is over, and I am proud of my sports teams. Only approximately 60 more days to consume myself with NY Giants Training camp.

BLAH DAY
For some reason my energy has dissapeared. I am going to need it for game 7 tonight. Sicne about lunch time I feel like someone just shot me. Just been slow, I can't seem to focus, and don't have my motiviation. It might be the weather, who knows??
As for game 7. Go NETS go. Whatever happens you still have 1 fan left in the tri-state area. Win or lose, and we have done a lot of losing in our lifetime together I will be a fan.

Random Dealings
I was driivng to work today and thinking to myself. I really played 40 minutes of a basketball game, and I didn't have an asthma attack, nor was I in so much pain. . Before the game I weighed in at 176.5 pounds. This morning I weights 173 lbs. I am still wondering if losing 3.5 poiunds in my sleep is feasable. Something tells me probably not. I guess the thyroid meds are kicking in. Today on the other hand I seem to be slow and sluggish.
Well its wedding season. Over hte course of 5 weeks Amber and I will attend 4 weddings. 2 of them are travel weddings, and 2 of them are 1 days weddings. Not sure which I prefer, I can tell you when I am away from my dogs and my home, I want nothing more then to be at home. The older I get the more of a homebody I have become. And with the countdown to my 30th birthday coming I really want some more quiet times in life. Today reading the news made me a bit nervous with this article, "Official: Al-Qaida eyes chem-bio attack in U.S." When they right an article like that wouldn't it be nice just once to tell us who the official was and what the information pertained.
Well need to eat.

Fatigued, Damn Suits
Its funny, it was a crazy weekend. I had energy, and I even purchased not 1, but 2 new suits. Let me tell you the cost of suits are rediculous. The new suits are because at a wedding a few weeks ago, my pants didn't really fit. The jacket was a touch tight and its been 5 years since I last purchased a suit.
I was so fired up all weekend, with my Nets about to close out the pistons. Well they lost last night, so that means nothing more then a game 7. For those of you who grew up with me understand that I put sports as to high a priority in my life. But sports are my soap opera, sports are my vice, my ability to have 2-3 hours away from the cruel realities life can bring. If the nets lose it will be a while until sports will consume me again. Training Camp for the GMEN open in june, and that will bring me back full ciricle. But thats not the purpose of this post. I am not really sure what the purpose is. See, its monday. Took me way to long to get into the office. The one thing i really needed to take care of (re-screening my screens in my windows) i did not do.

Friday, What a Day
Living in North Jersey, Everything can be an adventure. Lets see today it was a trip to Newark for our Regional meeting. I met people that I have only talked about. It also got me realizing that I am much much smarter and well connected then I ever though of in life. That people really do respect my opionion. Well with all that said driving in Newark sucks. My company is thinking of moving our office to Newark, which wouldn't be the end of the world. It would just make my drive a little longer. Then I got home today, and realized I was playing some golf early Saturday morning. So I mowed the lawn, Yelled at the dogs while mowing the lawn. For some reason the little one will jsut lay on the lawn as to where the mower is going next, and rip the grass out. Its almost like she is trying to help because she seems to rip the grass out of the ground.
Anyhow, as for friday night, I had an issue with fleet bank which they took care of. The wife brought home dinner from the diner, which is always so good. SO that left me with the end of the net game. I can honestly say I broke the remote. I have fixed the remote. And as I sit here I am still convinced that they might win this. I walked back to talk to amber during the game, and said this isn't hockey. Double OT?? SO now its in triple OT with ticks ont he clock. I know will be up in a few hours to play some golf, and I am riveted. Okay. So here we go the last 24.1 seconds. The nets are only up 3, and now with 8.9 seconds left have a chance to ice it with 2 free throws. Its 4 points, and now a 5 point lead. As I was saying to my wife before this has been the single greatest basketball game I have ever watched. Ahhh. The nets have done it. Our 1 win from going back to the Eastern Conference Finals. The champions of the east are still the champs until someone knocks us off. So go Nets, and I am off to bed. Off to get some zzz's. Start think about swining my clubs in the morning. Good morning, good afternoon and goodnight, just in case I don't blog you tomorrow.

CaddyShack Anyone
So Lately I have been coming home, when I go into the office, and walk in thru the back door. Its a bit easier with the mail, and I will sometimes drop the garbage can off. So what in the world do I see in the backyard?
the joker.jpg
Some days my life is like Bill Murray in Caddyshack. No Joke. Our puppy dogs have a fun time with this one. One thinks they want to play, and the little weiner dog is out for blood. My wife yells. "Run Ground Hog Run." It commical I tell you, commical

Greatest American Hero?
I was sitting in my "other office" and the "Greatest American Hero" theme song popped in my head?? I am telling you if I were only to bring my laptop into my other office who knows what would come out. Might be an experiment for another day.
Ahh,lightening Makes the world Turn Off
So I am working from home today. Wasn't supposed to. The exterminator ran late, so that screwed me up for my 11AM Call. Which isn't the end of the world. Then we have this crazy storm at 3PM. Knocks the power off for a few, then it comes back on and of course the one thing that doesn't work is the cable modem. So I was stuck using dial up and of course I forget to put my messenger function back up and when you work from home that is the single most important item you can use in my company.
Sitting eating dinner tonight, and I ask amber are the storms over, she was like that's what the radio says, I just had this feeling. My knees have been bothering me, and when there is electricity in the air lately I feel it in my body. Not sure why. Its now almost 1015 and its time to get some zzzzz's.

Yahoo! News - Video Seems to Show Beheading of American
This entire situation is disgusting me. I thought islam was a peaceful culture. In this country this would not be tolerated. My question is why isn't the islamic heads standing up and denouncing al-Qaida. Are they going to have to apologize much like our president Bush did on Islamic TV??? I would guess not.

A Monumental Moment
Well I finally figured it out. I am on some new meds for a thyroid condition that I have and I have to swallow the pills, and you can't take it with food, so I can't even hide it in a banana like I do with my allergy medication. My doctor told me I could chew them, but the taste may bother me. I have tried for years and years. So out to dinner with Amber on Friday Night at Denville Seafood, I told her I was going to do some research and maybe see if there was a trick to doing this. Well the research didn't happen until Saturday night, and then Sunday morning I had my breakthrough. I was able to swallow my first pill. Now, I will admit these pills are tiny, but still it was a huge victory for me, for someone who has tried but never succeeded. I was able to then swallow my allergy medication instead of chewing it. All this was capable with the invention of the drinking straw. Its as easy as putting the meds in my mouth and drinking through a straw. I must say I have done it twice today already. Ahhh, the savings on the awful taste in my mouth is just unbelievable.

I was reading Ponderings of a Princess and she was talking a bit about her youth, due to her son going to the prom. Myself I could always play with the basketball, tennis racket, life was easy and simple that way. I wish at times it was still that simple, and believe it or not I have tried to get that simplicity back. My life with my love my wife, and my two pooches has become much simplier in recent being. There was a time in 2001 after 9-11 where my mind just moved and moved and move. And I lost my job, was lucky enough to find another one and another one, and continue on from there. So lately its been more about taking care of myself. I went back to the doctor recently and they found that my TSH levels for my thyroid gland where out of whack. Its not really a big deal, just some medication and hopefully I will get back to normal with some real energy. I guess what i am driving at this afternoon is we all have a tendancy to make things way to complicated. So back to basics in my mind. Myself, my family, and fun will be the overwhelming values in this new strucutre.

I ain't fraid of no Ghost
MSNBC - Live-action Pac-Man hits New York streets Wakka, wakka wakka, the only question I really have are the contestents making noises. And is there actualy fruit and how in the world are they going to get this to move all around the board?? Other then that sounds like an interesting idea. Whats next Donkey Kong???
Telegraph | News | Jail for man who left bag in airport
This man is getting a raw deal for leaving a teddy bear and some fruit. Sure, lets send him to jail for 10 to 25 days. This will surlely make the trip, and the teddy bear be fresh in his thoughts. I know this sounds crazy and I am sure that bombs can be hidden in teddy bear's, but common sense must prevail somewhere in the world. ANYONE, ANYONE, bueller, bueller. Throw me a fricken bone.

Choco does it = Loco
CNN.com - Woman buys 10,000 Mars bars, drives off in limo - May 5, 2004 My good friend Darren sent me the article above. All i can honestly say is what in the world is this woman thinking. It reminds me of a story of the great "Champagne Shortage" of 1999-2000. This person who I will keep nameless told all of us to stock up on the bubble. That he was buying stock and lots of it. All I can think is wow, the things people think of. As for this woman. Thats a helluva lot of chocolate bars. Someone either has s ome serious cravings or something.

10.5 - Earthquakes, Mother Nature, Movies and More
So did any of you watch this riviting TV. I mean with 135 plus channels and my beloved nets getting blow out by the pistons, I was so fired up to watch an earthquake redefine the california coast. Not sure why, but it was fascinating. There is something about tragedy that people are compelled to. I can honestly say I am looking forward to The Day After Tomorrow. I found out abou thtis movie when I was doing some reading on Nuclear war and the Movie "The Day After." I remember watching this movie as a child and always saying to myself we better never have a nuclear war. I wouldn't want to go through any of that stuff. This crazy mother nature movies therej is truly nothing we can do. All of us, myself lincluded have led our dear earth to be destroyed. If everyone just did something little maybe just maybe it would slighly improve. Oh well enough of my conjecture.

Monday
As far as I can tell this monday should have a big slash thru it. First of all I am very proud of my nervous wife who started a new gig after almost 4 years with the Century 21 brand. She is now going to work for NRT. Don't have a clue except that real estate is involved. She was incredibly nervous last night and this morning, and in all hoensty she has nothing to be nervous about. She has me, and if something were to happen we would figure it out. After all, none of us should be confused that having a carreer is more important then having a life.
As for the weekend, went by way to quickly. Finally got Stanley a haircut he is so much happier "Shaved." Spent some quality time just the Weiner dog and I, we went for a walk and chilled, while the wife was at scrapbooking. I think its great that amber has the hobby, I just don't understand it. As for the week ahead, I am looking forward to hopefully a few days to get some work done. Work has been incredible busy, not that I am complaining, but when you start up the ole PC and you see like 42 new email messages you get a touch nervous that it is going to make for a long week. Well hope to have an update a little later in the day.
