They're not here They're not coming

So tonight the wife and I are going to the land of Bibb we are going to the center of the world. That would be Newark NJ. We are off to NJ Pac to see the man. The Don. The real Don. Don Henley. I am sure he is going to put on a great show. I saw him a few years ago with my girlfriend who is now my wife. We almost selected a don henley song for our wedding (This life would be the song). I think Don Henley writes music from the heart and soul. What I don't like and I am sure we are in for a touch of it tonight, is when muscians talk about Political points. If you want to have a conversation don't do it to 10,000 people at a time, do it one on one where viewpoints can be shared and expressed.

Well I will have a report on the show either after the concert or in the morning.

Crazy Martini Chicken

So today, the wife and I get home from work, and I could tell their was no cooking in our future. Especially not after running the dishwasher. I mean who wants to cook nontheless wash dishes. So we use the old entertainment book for a coupon and go to the Cafe Metro. Anyhow if ou look at the menu, I always eat the Crazi Martini Chicken. Why oh why do I always do this to myself. I would think one would learn the first 4 times someone eats something and the said item destroys one's stomach one would not eat it again. Well I never seem to learn, i actually think its the only thing on the menu that i ever eat.

Thats about as funny as a 14 year old with an overactive bladder:

Okay so this weekend was on the low key side. We saw my buddies puppy. It reminded me of when daisy was a puppy, the challenge and the fun. Our friends made us dinner and we caught a few minutes of the Va Tech SC game. Which was nice to see football on TV.

Lets see what was funny and why that the title. Well, I get a letter from the IRS when we get home on Sat night and essentially says I owe them some money. Well I want to tell the IRS to go screw themselves (granted I will pay them). What happens when an Employer doesn't send you W2. What is the employers responsibility. I know I was paid for services, but to me, for them to charge me an extra 40$ in interest for the years that they claim I was not responsible is complete bullshit. Charge the employer the difference. Since they screwed up they should pay the piper and the Govt.

As for this convention and protesters going on in NYC. I am tired of this news already. Dead Tired.

As for Aetna, I still have not received my perscription. At this point I am angry and annoyed. Not that I expect Miracles, I do expect something, a letter a call, something that it is even in process.

AHH,

Can you hear that, thats the sound at 10AM and I swear my neighbor just cracked open an Ice cold one. I actually think its his father but their is definatly a bar open somewhere. Well as a typical friday I am in the comfy confines of my house, on a conference call while my weenie dog continually barks. Oh thank goodness for the mute button.

Well I am awaiting my perscription from the Aetna hemmridge earlier this week. I still don't believe they will actually send it to me, but we shall see. As for the weekend, home on the range. Have a couple weekends of no travel. We might go see a friend of ours new puppy.

AETNA Sucks

Well it was about 4PM today and you could hear me shouting at the phone. Then it was 5PM today and I was still shouting and getting no where. Lets see this story started innocently enough when I called my Synthroid Perscription in. Then wifey came home around 2pm and let me know CVS had called and said that my insurance said they wouldn't pay for the perscription. I was like what, my endo put me down for 12 refills. So I was burnen mad at this point. Evidently we have to get al our refills thru mail order. So fine, so override my perscription let me get a refill, and then I will submit it to Mail order. Nooooo they can't even do this. So i may fricken have to go without my medication for a few days. Which is not a good thing as I have a medical condition. I don't get it. The woman on the phone had the audacity to tell me to pay out of pocket and then do mail order. I was like excuse me you little fuck, I pay every pay period for my wife to have Health Insurance. You call this fucking insurance (I apologize for the curse words, but this is what i was saying). I was like, you know what I will pay for it, when you give me all the money over all the years that I have paid to your company that I will never see. Now the woman on the other end of the phone was trying to be as nice as possible, then she agreed with me, but of course she said she couldn't help me.

URRRGHGHHHHGHGHHH

Thats just way i still feel about this hole thing.

9-11 and Weddings,

Okay as many of you know the wife and I will have gone to 12 weddings (not including ours) in 12 months. Well it comes to an end october 9th for a while. We have one wedding where i have mixed emotions. Thats right we have one on 9-11. I am very excited to see my friends JB and K-doggie dog get married. Its great. I am not sure if they realize that for some of us it is a very emotional day. Why I am speaking about this because I myself am not sure about a lot of things today, it was a loud dat at my work. Anyhow The day to me is a sacred day, its a National day or at least a day for parts of the company to remember that horror of that day. I was unemployed at the time and just the sheer mention of 9-11 makes me nervous. It brings me back to the day when I was helpless, when I sat with my little daisy and watched as the second plane hit the building, then watched them fall. It was then later in the weeks to come that wifey and I would find out that we had lost friends on that horrible day, or friends of friends had been killed.

Maybe I am being a bit sensitive these days. I have thought on the positive side that this wedding might help me get over my fears of that day. That day when I seemed to be losing control of everything around me. Here is hoping that the day the wedding will be filled with greatness.

Posting Errors

In last nights post I made a mistake. I said that the big one was having problems and hte little one was all well and good. I meant to put a picture up of the big one. Anyhow on my searches thru the net I found this article about the dogs from Ground Zero. I am so lucky to have 2 healthy wonderful and playful dogs. WRAL.com - Health Team - 14 Search Dogs From Ground Zero Have Died Since 9%2F11

See in my life I have had many of dogs. I have had my dog toffee who was all mut, and lots of love. We had that bond between a boy and his dog. He was the dog that i grew up with. Then my family got Bonnie about 6 months after toffee had passed away. She was a crazy one. A little ruff around the edges but we loved her anyways. Then we got the little one "Daisy" that you can see in the post below. Then stanley whose picture is on this post. Anyhow if you have a dog you love them like they love you, unconditionally, no matter what happens in life that dog is still their smiling at you in their own special way. They make life happier and they make it special.

Let's see,

The weekend, did anything happen this weekend except for the olympics. Well I heard from two people that they are having kids. I think its great, that both of them are having kids, is their something going on in the water. Are to many people drinking the kool-aid. As for monumental events for the wife, and I, we went to a barbeque, had some dinner with our friends John and Jazmine, and their baby Sophia. Well it rained a ton for a bit saturday but today, i trimmed the hedges, installed the wife's sat radio, mowed the lawn, scooped the poop, tried weeding near my mailbox. It was a fun weekend, the big guy was either wound up, or dead tired. Can't figure it out for the life of me. I know my wife woke up both saturday and sunday and he was the first one up in the house. It could be the xtreme's in the weather or it could just be he had one of those weekends where he wasn't himself. As I write this he is curled up on the couch next to the wife and the lil one. Well more ramblins from me tomorrow as I start to realize that the summer is coming to an end quickly.

Damn,

I wrote a really good post, last night. I swear I did. I went to upload it to blogger, and it never showed up. What in the wide wide world of sports is goin on here. Anyways lets see if I can recapture some of it. I blabbed about Eli Manning talked about football on TV, etc.

I have no clue what I wrote about. All I know is it is hot hot hot outside today. Good, it should be warm. Its august. What ever happened to global warming anyways. Last time ichecked the last couple of winters colder then normal, last couple summers colder then normal, not that I am complaining at all. As for work and things work has been crazy busy. People don't do what they are supposed to which causes me headaches. How hard is it to sit thru a presentation that might benefit you for your job. Hmmm?? As for the weekend, the wife and I are both home. Thats right we are home, looking forward to a relaxing weekend.

Tree's done,

So get yourself some popcorn and enjoy the show so to speak.

Okay, so it was done a few hours ago. Damn I was tired after watching them cut down this tree. If you live in NJ, I would highly recommend these guys.

Anyhow before pics --- Pic 1 --- Pic 2 ---Pic 3

Please note, my house is the smaller of the two, I am sandwhiched in between to "barn style houses"

Anyhow for the after pics Only 2 it was getting dark.

Done 1 --- Done 2

Bringing down parts of the tree

Well our tree that overhangs our house is coming down today. Its not completely coming down but the parts that are close to hitting my house and my neighbors hourse. Its al good. Its something that probably should have been done close to three years ago when we first move in, but we waited and waited. I will have before and after pictures up later.

Refrigerator Thief:

In the office in which I work their are probably about 4 or 5 refrigerators. Well one of the Heads of state over here just came over and asked if anyone had ate his lunch that he brought in. Well I was remembering last week that someone had taken my Hot Pockets. People of this world in an office. If their is food in the fridge and its not yours don't take it. I am a pain in the arse when I don't have my fricken Budget Gourmet or Hot Pockets. Things that are no good for me and take only 5 minutes to make, saving me money and keeping my stomach happy!!!

Traffic,

Where in the world does all this traffic come from. I am not talking about traffic during 7AM to 930AM in the morning or 4-730PM in the afternoon. I am talking about the traffic that happens on saturdays in connecticut (or connectishit). It took almost 5 hours to get to rhode island. 5 fricken hours. I have done this drive probably 100 times or so. ANd it has taken a long time. Once it took more then 11 hours to make it up north. This was xtremely frusturating. It wasn't during a peak time near a mjor holiday.

Well the wedding was great. Great to see some old friends. Anyhow it amazes me how little people evolve when they have a few drinks in them.

Fun weekend, long rides up and back. More later.

"Thats what happens when you vote a damn democrat into office"

Well This is just one of the comments that I heard today after "McGreedy" annouced that he was going to resign, and that he was gay, and that he had an affair. Okay if McGreedy was gay, why oh why in the world did he vote to ban gay mariages in teh state. It just seems absurd to me.

The quote up top was a joke by someone very special in my life. It was just a joke and not meant to harm anyone.

Maybe this is all a ploy to take terrorism out of the spotlight.

In addition, shouldn't the top story be that he resigned. All of the local news outlets decided that the fact he was gay was a bigger story. I could give a shit wether someone is gay or not. Thats the least important aspect of the hole day for goodness sake.

Goodluck jim, and may your life be filled with happiness and clean cabinets.

Reading

Lets see I was reading my blogs this mornng, and yes I do read a ton of blogs, and I came across this one. I Just Write I don't like to comment on my blog, but I just think that some things are better left unblogged. To be honest, the girl has a great blog, she is funny, and has a wild life.

As for me, things here are good. Heading to Rhode Island for a wedding where as this blog pointed out yesterday that you might even be able to serve family as a meal.

My Fish had babies.

So yesterday I go down to our family room to feed the fish and walla. Their they are lots of little larve, or fish babies. They were all swimming. So i quickly jumped to action trying to scoop them out before they get used as food. Well I got most of the fishes couldn't save them all their were probably like 30 in all. Probably got 15. Now they are either mollies or guppies. So I quickly set up an external tank and have the little fishes in a small tank. They are all doing well.

WFTV.com - News - Man Jogs On Treadmill For 168 Hours To Set Record

Are you kidding me. 168 hours on a treamill. Why oh why in the world do we have records like this. I think they should come up with a new book. The guiness book of stupid dumb people willing to do stupid things because they believe wordl peace will come out of it. Throw me a fricken bone.

To and From:

Well here it is sunday right before Six feet under. It was a good weekend. Saturday bought a new pair of sneaks, so did the wife. Cleaned up the backyard, which included weeding, edging spraying some other weeds. Then sunday, woke up drove to orwigsburg PA to my old college Roommate who turned 30 today. Anyhow his wife threw him a surprise party which also co-incided with the company picnic. It was a very nice affair. Anyway, my roomate's family owns This harley shop. And their was a unique mix of people. People who believe that PA is the center of the universe. Heck I believe that anything west of NJ is considered middle america. So PA the center of universe???

Well if you ever need or want a Harley go see Geoff their.

Fantastic Friday

Well all in all not really that fantastic. it was all good in the hood. Car serviced. Went out with the wife, and just trying to relax. I must say that my wife and I have a friday night tradition. We watch Monk. The USA Monk. The obsessive compulsive detective. I must say it is one of the most unique shows on tv.

The Olympics??

So is anyone out there the least bit interested in the olympics. The only thing that I like about the olympics is the Olympic theme song. Da Da Dadadadada da dadada dadada da dada da daaaa. See when I hera the music I have to find little daisy and run around the room holding her as my torch. No real rhyme to my reason just something we have been doing since she was a wee little 10 week puppy.

Chicken Pox,

Christian Slater has the Chicken pox. His It got me thinking. I have never had the chicken pox. Makes me crazy to think. My siblings 1 had the chicken pox and 1 had the shingles. Myself still no chicken pox. Maybe this is the reason my thyroid gland doesn't work properly . Maybe this is the reason why I am such a wackjob. I just hope and pray that if my children get chickenpox that my wife can deal with them or that I will not get them from my kids.

Course of the day.

Lets see in the course of this day which has not been to exciting I have been getting tired. I know my thyroid can make me tired but thats okay on my book, and just a fact of life. Just makes me wonder how the energy level runs. I mean I have eaten well the last few days. But its tuesday. Almost half way thru the week. Well tomorrow is the halfway point of the week. Well enough of my jibbersh, I don't have much to write. Bibb pretty much covered the orange alert. So thats it for me for now.

Monday,

Well back to the grind. Been grinding it out a bit lately. I am hopefull that the wife's bid for a job with the special olympics will be a good one. Hopefully she will get offerred what she is worth (in my mind its alot of money) so i can be a stay at home dad. The stay at home dad part will never happen. I would probably go stir crazy. As for everything else life is good. September is right around the corner. We are about to start up the final 3 or 4 weddings of the year. We have one in 2 weeks, then one on the 11th of september and one the second full weekend in october. The one in the middle is out in the Ohio Area. Not sure if we are going to go but I am sure it will be figured out if we get invited!!

Well enough of me for now, need to get back to grinding out the day.

Let's See,

Well today is sunday, I am enjoying six feet under as I write this, and as the nightime is setting. The weekend overall was good. Trying to keep the dogs happy, the house clean, and not to much yelling. Saturday I golfed,(shot a 101), and mowed, and went down to bayonne for some good dinner. Had the veal parm. As for sunday, it was raining yet again. So had to wash the floors as the little one's feet made such a mess so it had to be washed.

Then I relaxed, and will venture off to bed.
