Blizzard me this battman,

My wife has come to the conclusion that when we have kids she would consider naming our first son "Gilad" this is all based upon her obsession with FitTV. Thats right she is a fitness Junkie. I like names like Abecrombie Winfield and she wants Gilad. She lets me know facts that Arnold Scwazernager has been on Gilad.

We aren't having kids but it seems like every one around us is having kids or trying, or had one recently, etc. Its pretty crazy actually but fun non the less. The wifey is always going to baby showers buying baby gifts etc.

Getting Ready for F-in Armagendon

The way these weather geeks and people talk the end of hte world is coming. Weather its 1, 2 or 3 feet of snow, it sjust snow afterall. As for the weekend it was great. The Wifey and I had a great time we went to see the movie "Hitched" it was funny, and in my mind Kevin James is a great actor. I learned that will smith has stolen "the running man" that most of my friends patented in college.

As for this storm, "BRING IT ON BIOTCH"

And Debby, I do hope that you get off OK on tuesday and have a fantasmal disney vacation.

So Big Deal, Just a few Flakes,

So thats all it was, a few flakes, yes i am a geek, I shoveled the night before so i could make sure I made it to the city on time or even early. Yes its truem I had to shovel most of the same area again so my wife could get out, but thats the way I like it. Well I have taken a few days after my little thyroid post, and life is good. When I walked out to go to work, the smell outside was awesome, that of a fresh air type of a scenario. Most of the snow had not been touched by mankind so the world looked peaceful. Then I am in the city today, and i can honestly say their is no snow in this place. No grass in the summer, no snow in the winter, its to Matrixed for my liking.

Well time for the weekend when I hop back on that train, time for me to go home and rest and relax with my dogs and my wifey.

Here is to a good weekend for you as well.

Okay, Test Results Come in, (Long discernable post coming up)

Why is it that I get my results from the doctors and I don't believe what I hear. I mean its one thing to have a thyroid problem then when you try your best to work so hard to have it under control it sounds like you might have tried to hard. Well my results were this, I need to take a less does of the drugs that I have been on for over the past year. This means that I am Hyperthryoid. This doctor also thinks I should get a physical and go see an Internest. My biggest problems these days are that I am always very tired. Doesn't matter what I am doing wether I am Hypo or Hyper. My life has always been about ups and downs and more ups and downs. Over the past year, I can honestly say that my life has been pretty even. I have a great wife, 2 great dogs, great friends who I don't see enough of. I can't pinpoint this feeling like healthy shit. I mean I put a positive spin on everything in life. Even shit that I have no reason putting a positive spin on. I go out of my way to help people I don't even know. I believe I treat people like I want to be treated. Is it not enough, what do I need to do to get healthy. Oh well sorry about the long post, just needed to vent.

What a crazy Last week and Weekend

Well friday was a crazy sad day. My boss's wife died at to young of an age, and I was heading up north to visit some of the ole college boys. Yeah, when we get any of us together it can be a wild time. Of course their was a bottle of Jamieson, Some Cold Coors Light, some budd light, and great times with some friends. Their was even a special visitor from the deep ocean.

See what a whacky weekend can do. See Exhibit A,B, and C

The weekend in all was a fricken riot. We watched the movie oldschool like 6 times and not just 6 times, but 6 times in a row. We all realized that we are getting older. We talked about old times and definatly mad some new. One of the guys brought Exhibit A B and C above and also a garden nome. We had a Nascar 98 Video Game tournament. It was friends getting together having a blast.

A note about the gentlmen in Exhibit C, that is not me. I can't sleep around my friends as I know they for the most part are evil in a good sense of the way.

How New England is Slowly Ruining My Life.

Allright this post may be odd but its true. What in the world is happening here. The last time the Redsox won the world series was October of 1918. Coincidently the next Stanley cup after the sox championship in 1918 was cancelled do to the flu. Looks like history has repeated itself. Redsox win this fall of 2004, no Lord Stanley this spring. This strange coincidence and the fact that I will be in Connecticut this weekend has everything to do with how
the Red Sox continue to ruin the lives of those of us good folks in the Mid-Atlantic. What the hell has happened over the past few years. The Pats = Dynasty, the redsox win a world series. All i was just trying to say and it proves it that all this new england fun has ruined the world. Whats next an Israli Palestinian peace? Will syria and Iran actually team up and try to rule the middle east. Its all so disturbing to me.

Its Like Asking a Girl out in High School and she says MAYBE??

I know their are more important things in this world then sports. But I Love my hockey. I am a devoted (idiotic) fan. I am a junkie when it comes to the sport. Life is life. This hole lockout is like asking someone out and they say maybe. I think even the diehard fan just wants the girl to say no. For those non sporting fans this is what this feels like.

As for life and more important things, I went back to the doctor today to get the thyroid checked out. Well I am in fasting mode as tomorow morning I get a panel of tests that will probably show what the last panel of tests showed. That I have a thyroid problem, and who else knows. This doctor seemed nice enough. She actually told me I was knowledgeable on the hole thyroid thing. Which made me feel pretty good. Well like must go on, and tomorrow I will hear what my other girl said, hoping its a yes.

A Wonderful Weekend

SO lets see, where to start. First things first my wife kicks ass. Thats right she does. See she got these basketball tickets a few weeks back. Little did her or I know that we would be sitting arms length from the Nets Players. On the floor, with free drinks, free food, it was awesome. That is how the weekend ended. The weekend started simply enough with wifey coming home from her work trip to orlando. She brought me lots of gifts (not necessary) the best gift was her coming home. Well she did come home and we did go see our hoops games, and 2night we are going to eat at home. We will go out to eat another night when the crowds die down a bit.

Phew, what a day,

Welll its almost here, that weekend thing. I can honestly say I am looking forward to it. I can also tell you that my tile and kitchen floors are a mess. I mean a mess, their are little doggie paws all over them.

Well not much can be done, but thankfully to the cooler weather they are not tracking it in like crazy mofo's again. Anyhow forgot the real reason I was writing, just figured its better to just get something off the brain, before i take the dogs out one last time and freeze my gonads off. I mean its good its cold and all but it just got so cold so fast.

Wednesday - What makes me Angry

The #1 thing thats making me angry is Bad Reporting. I love these days how you read the paper and what not, and its always REPORT: (ENTER TITLE HERE). THis is just rediculous. What reporters can't go out and get facts. They have to trust what was written in another paper, and then report on that. This seems a little odd to me. As a former journalism major in college I can tell you that a story on a story is crap.

USATODAY.com - Office memo: Blogging can get you bounced

Do you think it can happen to you?? You won't see me blog much about work. My job at times is of a highly confidential and i view my blog as some extension of my life, and I think this lets you know credence of why others should take the same stance.

THe National Unholiday - The NO Win Superbowl

Well today is the day, the day when one faction will be happy and the other faction will be miserable, and I will be chanting "Eli's Better." I love football, my wife used to say that i care for it more then her, well thats not true. Football is the one day a week sport, and without the NHL my sportsnights have been a little lonely. All i know is the game will be fun, it always is the commercials will be interesting

So everyone enjoy he game.

Gary Bettman, and Bob Goodenow - Both are going to hell.

I hate to tell mr. Bettman and mr. goodenow this, but if they don't get in a fricken room, lock the door and don't come out until they have this thing settled, they both deserve to go to hell. Do you realize how many nights that you have ruined for your sport. Do you realize how many fans you have aliannated. Do you. I don't think either one of you have a fricken clue. SALARY CAP no SALARY CAP, Luxury TAX, No LUXURY Tax. I hate to tell them this but they are doing no good for the players, the owners and most importantly the fans. Both of these men have clearly forgetten who pays their salary and that is the fans. Lets get about 30 of us together and put together a deal that we feel is fair. We are the ones who evidently care about the health of the game.

A quick note to the the Players who make the money, try just for 1 week working in the real world. Try it. We will see if you complain over a salary cap that allows you to still make millions of dollars. As for the owners, i don't disagree with your cap, but lets get this thing done.

If you haven't noticed I am aggrivated. Really aggrivated with this hole dibocle. Its gotten so bad, where watching bush on the TV as an alternative isn't that bad of an idea. I mean reformming social security will probably be easier then settling this lockout.

I can go on and on with this topic and I will especially if its not settled. I myself as a fan (or maybe former fan) will make sure others who get sucked in by the beauty and grace of the sport never forget this Nuclear Winter that you have created. The restless nights realizing that their is nothing on over 250 channels as I desperatly try to search for a sport not on a sunday that gets my blood pumping. So thanks, thanks for nothing.

Favorite Superbowl Memory #2

Well my second favorite superbowl moment was watching Joe Montanna throw the ball to Taylor in the final moments of the Bengals Niners bowl. I remember watching it in my Aunt Jeanie's house. Aunt Jean died this year, but the superbowl was such a great one. Not sure why, the game was exciting, maybe it was the fact that I didn't want to go to Gilbert and Jean's. Maybe thats why that memory sticks in mind so much. Not sure why, it just does stick in my head.

How well do you know your country??

Place The State - Intermediate

I evidently know it pretty well. I scored 83% 52 Miles and 431 Seconds.
