Thoughts on the Garden State...
Hubby and I were in NJ this past weekend, and it brought back so many memories. While I do not regret moving to NY at all - love my job and my home, there's less traffic and more open space - there are some things that are far superior in NJ:
* gas prices: we paid $2.11 for gas in NJ last weekend. I filled up here in NY on Thursday - $2.38 (and I got a good deal!). Plus they pump your gas for you - we only have one full-service station around here, and while it has good prices, it doesn't have great hours.
* the food: diners, pizza and bagels - NJ is the best!
And a question for all of you in northern NJ - you know the store off Route 80, The Party Box? Is it just me, or is the name more appropriate for a strip club than a party supply store?
Finally, a very happy birthday to my godson (The Peanut) and our good friend Jason!
