Super Saturday
Today was a beautiful day here in upstate NY - temps in the high 70s, clear skies. A perfect day for a roadtrip.
Hubby and I drove out to Rhode Island today to visit some friends who are expecting their little one in mid-November. What a nice time - went out for lunch, did some shopping, and caught up on everything that has been going on in our lives. We wanted to get out there this month, since their baby shower is next weekend and we won't be able to make it. It was so much fun.
Although we spent 5+ hours in the car today, it was well worth it. The weather was gorgeous, the trees in the Berkshires are starting to change color, and having Hubby's company all made it a very nice drive.
Best purchase of the day? A tie between my hoodie and matching pants from Mimi Maternity (on sale, of course - I couldn't justify spending almost $100 on something that I will wear for 5 months tops)... and my pretzel from Auntie Anne's. The exciting life I lead...
