Where does the time go?
Um, when did it get to be mid-January? It feels like Christmas was just yesterday. And Harrison is now 11 months old - I wish that everything would slow down a little bit, so I could have the time to enjoy it all.
The holidays were great - lots of time with family and friends. Our first Christmas with Harrison was just magical - even though he preferred the boxes to the actual presents. He loves his new kitchen that he got from Santa, as well as all of the toys, books and clothes given to him by everyone.
My sister- and brother-in-law and my nephews came up for a visit - Harrison enjoyed seeing them and playing with his new football that he got. And we went out to dinner on New Year's Eve with my brother, his girlfriend, and their friends - a nice ending to a very relaxing vacation.
Of course, after a nice long stretch of being illness-free, Harrison contracted pink eye over the holiday and followed it up with a nice little stomach bug. Hubby and I managed to avoid getting pink eye, but I wasn't so lucky when it came to the stomach bug. Oh my God - I thought that I was going to die. It has been a week and I still don't completely have my appetite back.
Anyway, if I thought that this past month was busy - I haven't seen anything yet. Work is going to be a nightmare - our National Sales Conference is in mid-February and I am so swamped with presentation/script development, I can hardly keep my head above water. Plus, we are having a birthday party for Harrison and I need to get organized with that. And my goal is to finish his baby book by his first birthday (I am not holding my breath on this one).
If only there were more than 24 hours in a day...
