Sick day.

Hanging out at home today, as I spent all night puking in the bathroom - fun times, especially with a child who still likes to nurse 1-2 times/night. Of course, "relaxing days" are usually anything but - I spent the morning playing with H, cleaning the house, and putting away clothes, and I have been checking email almost non-stop.

Although it may seem like I have been neglecting my blog, it just doesn't feel like anything exciting is going on. So, here's some random stuff:

1. Took H to see the Easter Bunny on Sunday - he loved it! He kept looking at the bunny, then looking back at us, as to say "Check out this giant bunny!"
2. Taxes are done - hooray!
3. Did you know that Toys-R-Us will not return anything without a receipt, even if it has a TRU label on it and is on the store shelves? H received a duplicate gift for his birthday that we wanted to return for something more expensive. No dice. It's ridiculous - it's not like I am snagging stuff off the shelves and exchanging them for formula or diapers - ugh. Looks like we will be putting an ad up on Craigslist.
4. My friend had her baby - congratulations! Welcome to the world, Baby Q #2!
5. Daylight Saving Time really kicked my butt this year - stop taking away my hour of sleep!
6. See you later, Elliot Spitzer! Maybe he and McGreevey should start a support group.
7. We are thinking about taking a family vacation to Seattle this year, but I am a little bit terrified about taking a cross-country flight with a 18-month-old. We'll see...
8. I can't believe how early Easter is this year! It will be fun - we are doing a big breakfast at my mom and dad's, then off to dinner at Nana's house.
9. I am officially addicted to TLC. I started off with "What Not to Wear," then started watching "A Baby Story" and "Bringing Home Baby" when I was home on maternity leave. Now I love "Little People, Big World" and "Jon and Kate Plus Eight." It's a sickness.
10. I'll try to blog more soon, promise!
