One week.
One week left until Baby D makes his or her long-awaited debut. As much as I love being pregnant, I am looking forward to meeting the little one. This pregnancy was much more difficult than my first, and it's going to be great not having to see specialists and constantly going in for NSTs and ultrasounds anymore.
Of course, I have a million things to do before the baby arrives. I got some things crossed off my list over the weekend - like washing, folding and organizing all of Harrison's baby clothes for the new little one - but I chose to spend most of my time hanging with Harrison and hubby. We saw Sesame Street Live and went out for lunch on Saturday, then spent Sunday playing with "choo choos" and cars before going out to the most awesome dinner (thanks to my company!).
So, I have until next Monday morning to get the following done:
1. Pack hospital bag. (I don't even remember what I should bring with me to the hospital - right now, the only things on my list are makeup and Star magazine... help!)
2. Charge battery for camera.
3. Purchase new tapes for video camera.
4. Buy new nightgowns? (I could always wear the ones I wore when Harrison was born, but will I wish that I had new ones when I am in the hospital?)
5. Put together phone/email list.
6. Wrap up "to do" list at work. Yes, I will be working through the end of this week.
7. Wrap "Big Brother" gifts for Harrison.
8. Hit Borders for some reading material to bring to the hospital.
9. Check out Babies-R-Us to see if I can find a "Big Brother" tee for Harrison that I like better than the one I already bought.
10. Clean, clean, clean!
11. Wrap godson's birthday gifts and get them in the mail.
12. Finish writing thank-you notes for Harrison's birthday party.
13. Get eyebrows waxed.
14. Buy baby book for new baby.
15. Buy new moisturizer.
16. Pick out baby names. (Sigh.)
Please humor me and tell me that I will be able to get all of this done in the next 6 days, okay? Thanks!
