So I am trying to be open about the Oboma administration and hope that they do the right thing.  But i don’t think that will happen.  Remember all those promises that the now president elect made and those that were on his website.   They are all gone.  So I guess his agenda has changed.  You can read all about it here.

It’s as simple as this, I believe that this politician who said he would change the way things are done in washington. He is no different then any politician.  Black, white with boobs, without, if it talks like a duck acts like a duck then its a duck.

So for all of you who voted for him, just ask yourself, where did the promises go.

As for a good friend of mine whom, I always believed is much more liberal then I isn’t onboard.  I just hope, when the shit truly does hit the fan, that I will not be one of those getting spplattered by the remenince.

In addition, is it really necessary for an Oboma Holiday.  We haven’t yet figured out to make it a holiday for 3000 innocent people who died on 9-11.  Or we haven’t figured it a holiday to have off for one of the jewish holidays or muslim holidays. Yet we need an Oboma Holiday for a man who in my humble opinion has spoken the words, but never walked the walk.

Alot of people have been telling me today how we had no choice as a nation not to vote for oboma.  Then you start talking about the issues and all they want to do is bring up the last 8 years, and some of the fiasco’s that have happened.

See its just that, people are so stuck in the past they don’t want to look forward to the future.  They believe that change for the sake of change constitutes a good thing.  This is one thing i question? So if you are on a rowboat, and you decide to change whats happening you get up and you start rocking the boat.  What  happens when the boat tips??  You are all wet and then its time to get “changed out of your wet clothes”.   So I am not saying we are going to tipp the country over on its back, but hey you never know.

What happens when and if we are attacked?  Will Oboma “Talk” to those who provided the terrorism, like he has promised to speak with our enemies?  In the spirit of debate this morning with a friend, they brought up how excited they were that Oboma won, but they couldn’t tell me why they voted the way they did after I asked about some of the issues.

So we will see where the future of this great country is headed.  I am not going to speculate.  What I can say is that Action is the only item that can effectuate change.  The majoirty of this country took action, but what additional action will happen after 1/20/09.

That my friends is the real unknown, and I for one hope for a smooth transition, one that will allow me to hold onto what I earn!!

Good afternoon, good morning, and good night, just in case i don’t see ya.

So, tomorrow it happens.  What is being billed as the biggest day in the history of our proud yet young nation, and to me I am going to be somewhat happy when its over.  Its time to get back to things that really matter. (Like the gmen, the devils) See we have forgotten something about the election, its about us, and our families.  We all speak to broadly about whats best, but starting tomorrow I am concentrating on “Family First”

Someone explain something to me, When i first voted in 1992 via absentee ballott that was the biggest election of my lifetime.  Every time I have voted its been the most important election.  So I get it, times they are a changing.

I would also tell you that tomorrow is not the most important day in our nation.  That day in my life was september 11, and no one saw that coming.  I feel a let down for tomorrow.  Something amazing is going to happen, but I am not so sure its what we are all expecting or what we all want!

I can say this, I voted for Al Gore in 00 and George Bush in 04, so I would be one of those independent type voters that are so coveted. I have heard how bad this president has been, and have listened to the wrath of friends and family about how President Bush has been so terrible.  If the candidate I vote for does not win, I promise to spew the wrath of how bad life is because all you all (and by all you all I mean my family) voted for the other candidate, just to get the point across that we as a country need to come together.

I just hope when tomorrow or wednesday is over and all the votes have been counted that after a cooling period maybe just maybe we can put away “democrat, and republican” and start thinking like independents and do whats best for our families.

Good afternoon, good morning and goodnight, just in case I don’t see ya.

Ok, so today, while watching the giant game, i was fairly quiet for the most part.  The giants won and I am satified with that.  Een moreso, because my neighbor went to the game.  And he is a cowboy fan, so while I know there are many of you cowboy fans out there, I was just happy that his first game was a big L for his team.

As for everything else, things are going well.  I am working hard and trying to make a name for myself with in the new division.  I have no clue what the future holds.  I do know that as of January 13, I will be fully vested in my pension.  What that means, I am still not 100% sure but I do know its a good thing.

As for this election thing coming up I am voting for Joe the Plumber.  There, You heard it here first, I have endorsed Joe the plumber.  You know, he has more experience cleaning up crap then either mccain or oboma.  I mean the guy is a fricken plumber.

Goodnight all.

Anyone else worried these days.  In my life when things seem to get to the stable position they tend to ravel and fall apart.  First example would be what happened with my job this summer.

Just seems like the world is doom and gloom these days. The economy is faltering.  You read the paper or the net and unemployment will be at 8% before to long.    So myself I tend to put a lot of pressure on myself.  I have a growing family, a house the dogs the wife all who rely on me.  Thats just it, maybe its because its in the news.

Even when I take a few inutes for myself these days it seems the weight of the worlds problems are on my shoulders.  To some extent it even effects my viewing of sports.  While I enjoyed the giants game the fact that they didn’t play well bothered me.  So I am wondering, as I am getting older and my priorities are changing does it get any easier or will I be in this state of worry flux for the future.

I should say that there is much joy in my life and I will continue to live my life as worry free, but I believe the media and circumstances are making me way to nervous.

Ok, so first let me catch up, work has been busy, been some tough times and some good times.  The good times are far overwhelming the tough times.  As many of you don’t know I lost my job for about a week but another part of the organization picked me up so I was never unemployed however had a fear of being unemployed so it worked out well.  My new job is very challenging and like the last position, I am very lucky to be working with incredibly brilliant people.

Anyhow, now if you love america you need to watch this.  I am not telling you who to vote for.  However, I will say this, Farakahan the man speaking in the video hates all people whites/jews/blacks and only cares about linning his own pocket.  Just watch and remember when you go to the polls even for those who read the new testament understand to be weary of false idols.  If farakhan is saying this then I would be real worried not just for me, but for all of us.

So it seems to me there is a slight race war going on in the presidential election.  With Elliot Sptizher (purposely done) out and the unelected David Patterson in.  Seems that Mr. Patterson has decided that he is more important then most.  Letting the world know that Mr. Jon McCain is playing the race card, or as he said that Sara Paulin is.

Governer Patterson Article

Mr. Governor in recent months you have talked about ethics, I will ask you this question, is bringing something up like this unethical?? Are you yourself worried that another skeleton in your closet will cause you more issues. It just amazes me how all elected official speak out one side of there mouth and do the exact opposite. I am not only fearing for my country, I need to be worried about the state I live in.

Hey Governor Patterson, we all have to dig a little deeper, maybe that shoe should go a touch deeper down your mouth.

So as many as you know I haven’t been blogging as much as I can.  Its not because I don’t want to.  See its more because I have to much on my mind, which one of these days soon I promise I will let it all out.

Let’s see.  Job, I still have one, thats a story in its own right.  The amazing thing I have learned and the story that I will eventually tell, is maybe just maybe Karma is coming back on my side.

Life, its life, these days with the election, and so many people talking I am just going to ask a question is anyone really listening??  It seems no matter what one side says the other side says something different but is the american public listening or has the highest elected official in our country nothing more then a PR/Popularity contest??

And is there anyone else out there who thinks abortion should not be paid for by the government?? That women do have hte right to choose but the government should stay out of these personall issues.  Abortion, euthenasia, these aren’t political issues.  They are only issues because they bring out the worst in people.  The hole idea of goverment should be to stay out of people’s lives.  So one of the criteria I am using in this election is who will be less intrusive into my future.  Now I am listening, I just wonder if anyone else is??

So like normal i was reading some op ed pieces that someone on a message board posted.  As I generally do with these opinion pieces I try to keep an open mind, an open heart and also a level head.

What I read was ignorance.  Look i don’t care what your politcs are but what the women in the article is saying is exactly what is wrong with America these days.  You can find fault in anyone but to write if McCain wins there will be race wars???

And what about facts.  She believes we are in a recession, but what does the GDP do is grow in the last quarter.  Maybe it feels like a recession but its not and when will we wake up and realize that politcians lie, but in general numbers do not lie.

What really got my goat in the article is the final three paragraphs.  That Oboma understands what millions of americans are going thru.  Well he like McCain truly does not understand.

We will learn in november what change will occur, however you can now read the article for yourself and see if I am nutz or some people are just ignorant.

“Fatima Ali Column”

So the Democratic Speeches are done.  I was impressed how it all went down, but again my biggest complaint is there was no substance it was all prose.  No real talk about how he is going to make me feel safer.

Yes Barack Oboma speaks of hope and change.   But IMHO the only thing that will change is there will be different special interest groups getting the bulk of the money.  While his ideals they are great, and his ability to speak is great, the man frightens me.   I will not say that John McCain doesn’t scare me, but we have to think about if another attack is on our country.  Al Qaida has been successful pulling these items off every 8 years.  They did so in 1993 and 2001and as far as I am concerned we need to be prepared for the next attack on America.

At this point I am still an undecided voter and as far as I am concerned we are all undecided voters until we pull that lever on November 4.    I just ask that all of us americans readers of this blog, look at both candidates with an open mind.  Listen to what Mr. McCain has to say next week before fully deciding, wait for the debates, and remember, what happens in the next election won’t effect us for a bit, but it will effect our children.
